day down on Mudchute Farm.
The egg and spoon, five legged race and welly tossing certainly
brought out the competitive edge in many of us.
And while teamwork may have been the aim of the game,
it was innovative strategems that won the day.
Medals were duly handed out and there were rewards
for 7 people who had gone beyond the expected at work, as
voted for by their colleagues.
We also discussed what we had learned about ourselves during
the course of the day.
We learned we all like working with each other.
We learned one account director doesn't know where he lives.
And we learned that our Oprations Director is a lot younger
and fitter in his head.
On a sad note, best wishes and get well soon to our CD. Jeremy
is renowned for throwing himself enthusiastically into everything.
Which, during a post lunch game of rounders, included the ground.
X-rays showed nothing was broken, but he had torn the ligaments
in his shoulder.
At least his retirement from the field meant he avoided witnessing
the crushing of his team, seeing them driven before the opposition
and hearing the lamentations of its women.
